Working knowledge of SPI administration’s role and its interface with SPI super-user.

Minimum three (3) years of solid experience on Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) at a super-user level.

Experience in Instrumentation and Control design including 2D CADD, and 3D Modeling (PDS and PDMS).

5 years or more of experience as an Instrument/Control System Designer position in the Oil and Gas industry.

Engineering degree/Technology certification in Instrumentation/Controls or Electrical.

Ensure all drawings and materials are in accordance with the specifications and standards, including applicable codes and regulations.

Design Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments in an accurate and timely manner.

Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits.

Ensure all drawings are in agreement with the latest vendor print.

Review SPI Redline incorporation (As-Builts) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation.

Design layout and location drawings as required.

Maintain project deliverable using SmartPlant Instrumentation tools.

Design Wiring and Loop Drawing with the use of SPI (INTools).
